Join Us For Single Mom's Sunday

Join us for Single Mom's Sunday the first Sunday of every month at 9:00 a.m. in room A2132. Every month we will feature a topic relevant to God's women raising children in a single parent home as well as offer fellowship with other Mom's at various stages in the journey. Whether you'd like to learn to caulk the bathtub, to hear some wisdom on bringing up boys or could use some advice on squeezing in time for yourself, this forum is designed to be a forum that is both informative and encouraging.

 

Our purpose is to offer resources, hope, encouragement, and education to women raising children in single parent homes.

 

This ministry will help women; whether divorced, never married, or widowed, become connected to the right resources for their stage of the journey, link to the greater community of the church in a meaningful way and offer spiritual insights and practical lessons to use in their day to day lives so they can be empowered to be the women God intends them to be. This will be done through a once a month meeting format which includes fellowship, devotions, and practical lessons on a wide range of relevant topics. Women will be informed of other ministries and opportunities by way of a ministry blue print which lists all resources available to them and in some cases may be assigned a partner to help navigate them through those resources.

 

It is our hope that this forum will provide encouragement, empowerment, and life long friendships to women raising children on their own.
